At Cañas Photography, we are trying a new approach to portrait and event photography. While most studios today charge by individual packages, customers are limited only to the number of prints that package allows, with no chance to make further copies without paying excessive add-on fees. With the growth of digital photography, however, where cheap printing and convenient mass-distribution via the internet are the new norms, these rising studio costs make no sense.
With our own approach to modern photography, the prices of portrait and event photography are minimized. We have a flat-fee for our work, and provide quality collections for you to keep and enjoy. Rather than charging excessive fees for packages or individual prints, we give you a CD full of your photos from the shoot, giving you full access to print out as many of whichever ones you want, whenever you want. We take, compile, and edit the photos, and the digital collection is yours to keep.
We are a home-based business here in Des Moines, and photography is a passion we both share. One of us is finishing school and the other has been working since graduating in May ‘06, and so photography is the venture that we dedicate all our free-time to. What started as a pastime slowly evolved, and eventually we found ourselves the primary photographers for all the events we were invited to! Finally, as of January 2008, we have organized a way to share the same quality photography with the public that our family and friends have enjoyed for years. Capturing memories and precious moments, we are excited to offer you this priceless opportunity for the lowest cost possible.
